For hundreds of years, a glittering statue of ice stood alone in a frozen cave, in the far north of Fairyland. The nearby animals never ventured in as it was so dark, with long hanging icicles that looked rather frightening. But one day, a brave snowy owl went exploring. As he flew deeper into the darkness, he glimpsed the statue. With his sharp night vision, he thought it looked very much like a little fairy.
