Many autumns ago, the fairies were apple picking in the enchanted Russet Orchard. Hligh on the branches of one tree was a large, glowing, golden apple. The fairies left this one alone. Eventually, the golden apple fell from the tree. When it split open, a little fairy emerged. Shimmering in warm, earthy colors, Amber Goldenfall greeted her new friends.
